The function of the F8 button.

This function key is use to boot your computer into safe mode.

1. Start by restarting your computer.
2. As it is booting up hit the F8. If windows loads you missed your cue.  Restart and start all over again.
3. You know you have done it right when you see the options of booting in safe mode.
